Parent Expectations

Parents

Encourage all players!

Role model proper behavior

  • Make only positive or encouraging comments to players, coaches, game officials and spectators
  • Do not yell at players, coaches, game officials or spectators
  • Misconduct by a parent may result in parent and/or player sanctions or suspension

DO NOT coach from the sideline

Encourage your player to take responsibilities for themselves, as follows:

  • Respect others, stay positive and listen
  • Arrive at training and matches on time
  • Wear proper attire
  • Communicate with the coach
  • Eat well, with proper nutrition and hydration
  • Be a ‘student’ of the game = watch all levels of soccer, ask questions, and practice on their own
