After interpreting how the new WA state restrictions apply to sporting activities, there are two new updates to the email that was sent out last night.

Masks: Currently, masks are required for coaches during practice sessions, and players before and after the actual practice.  New restrictions now require that the players need to wear masks during practice.  Please let your child know that they need to keep their mask on during the whole practice so the coach doesn't need to keep reminding them.

Timeline:  Piecing together the WA State notice (below) with the fact that these restrictions will be in place for four weeks, this means that games are now not allowed until mid-December.  This effectively cancels the rest of the NPSL season.  We will keep you all updated if things change as we get to December, but the numbers don't look like they will change these new restrictions.

Youth and Adult Sporting Activities: Indoor activities and all contests and games are prohibited. Outdoor activities shall be limited to intra-team practices only, with facial coverings required for all coaches, volunteers and athletes at all times.

We are still planning to have fields available in Jan for teams to continue to practice, and we will have to wait to see what our numbers are at that time to see if teams can schedule friendlies with other teams.
